PROBAYES develops decision-making solutions when decisions are difficult to make because of:

Bayesian networks is a newer Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that enables one to reason in complex situations with many confusing, uncertain and conflicting sources of information.

A Bayesian network consists of a number of events that may be observed, and at any time a calculation can be made to find the probabilities of the non-observed events based on the available information.

Bayesian networks are mathematically proven to be correct - even in very complex situation.

In order to address the different application fields, PROBAYES is structured around 4 competency centers:

• Defense, Security: sensor fusions, gesture recognition, identification & tracking (1 patent)
• Finance: Operational risks, fraud detection (credit cards, Anti Money Laundering)
• BPM (Business Process Management): process management, sampling, quality control, predictive maintenance
• BI (Business Intelligence): behavior prediction, data mining, information search (one patent)
