SURVEY Copter

SURVEY Copter is specialised in the design and manufacturing of turn key remote systems working in critical and severe environments/conditions (sea, air or over ground). These systems involve Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), robots, tanks, complex turret systems as well as data transmission and target tracking devices. The turrets can be integrated on any UAV system or on manned aircraft for aerial photography applications. With the Swiss subsidiary weControl SA, SURVEY Copter controls the complete technological chain of UAVs.

SURVEY Copter produces fixed-wing UAVs, e.g. the DVF2000 airplane, the CARD CH airplane novelty 2010 and the TRACKER airplane for the military DRAC program of GDA and CASSIDIAN, and rotary-wing UAVs, like the Copter1B, Copter4 and the electric Copter City, Copter 4 City, also the Copter Mosquito. The company also supplies equipments for blimps. SURVEY Cotper is recognized in the UAV community for its innovation and afforfable prizes.

In continuous search of innovation and product improvements, SURVEY Copter has developed the UAV stimulator "weSim" which allows to fly its UAVs in a virtual 3D environment under real-time conditions. The training of operational teams can be done with less risks and independent of environmental conditiosn.

The stimulation system is composed by real parts of the UAV system and simulation tools which allows to accomplish a complete mission (takeoff, flight, landing) and with capacity to activate faults during the flight. Furthermore the system includes a simulator for visible/IR camera grimbals allowing to perform observation missions on zones of interest with mobile or stationary targets in a complete virtual world. The stimulator is an ideal tool for training and mission preparation.
